The new company has taken over all technical activities previously managed by Semagri. The name <em>M&#8217;von Genetic<\/em>, quickly suggested by the team, means <strong>&#8220;seed&#8221;<\/strong> in the Ewondo language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This process, initiated in <strong>2019<\/strong>, came to fruition in the summer of <strong>2026<\/strong> thanks to the commitment and collaboration of the finance, legal, and technical teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company comprises <strong>eight employees<\/strong>, all actively involved in the following areas: <strong>variety breeding, varietal control, seed production, phytopathology, and crop management<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although the activities have been separated into a dedicated entity, the station remains closely linked to Semagri. As of today, Semagri remains the sole shareholder of M&#8217;von Genetic and continues to own the land.
